Glimpse of My Future

As the title says I’ve been having more thoughts about my future and I’ve come up with a good plan. For one, after high school I’ll go to Community College for two years and then transfer to Duke University. My Grandpa said he’d pay for anyone who wanted to become a lawyer and so I’ll do that. I’m pretty sure he’ll pay for my Community College too. He’s just desperate to have another lawyer in the family, since no one seems to want to become one. So I’ll make his day and do it. With someone paying for all your expenses, I won’t have to worry. I’ll get a part-time job though, for food and of course, to keep being an Otaku. I was thinking of working at a bookstore, since I’ve always wanted too. Even if that sounds weird….

Second, my friends and I promised to go to Japan together for a Graduation present. They’re a year younger than me, so I’ll graduate before them, but I don’t care. I just want to go to Japan and I’d rather go with friends. There’s no way I’d ask my Grandpa to pay for that, since he’ll already be paying for my education, I’m not heartless. So I’ll ask my parents. I’m sure since they won’t be paying for college, they’ll just pay for my trip to Japan. The last thing they’ll ever to pay for me. Then again, still the most expensive…

Now that that’s settled, I’ll explain why I’m going to Community College, since it does sound stupid to transfer schools. Well, I don’t want to take the SAT. Call me lazy, but I see how people are stressing for those tests and I don’t want that. You don’t have to have SAT test scores to get into Community College, so it’ll be easy to get in. I’ve got a high GPA after all. Then to enter Duke, with my grandpa’s help too, they’ll just look at my GPA from the Community College. Simple. I’m pretty fortunate….

Now to get through this year and my senior year is the hard part. How I wish it’d go by faster. I’m so tired of high school and all the stupid kids. I want to be an as soon as possible! It’s so frustrating!

You think my grandpa will get me a laptop too? If it’s part of my education expenses and all? Probably… I hope anyways. He’s a nice person. Otherwise, I’ll be one myself. And there’s the trouble of getting a car. I’m sure I’ll need one. *sigh* So many things to consider. Oh well.

I’ll be Newtype magazine then and I won’t renew my subscription for Shojo Beat. Once I’m 18, no more Shoujo manga. Only Josei, yaoi and yuri, thank you. Already Shoujo manga is beginning to bore me. I like mature relationships.

Another post in less than a day??!! What’s going on here?

Actually, it’s because I happen to have some free time now, while I’m listening to this new Korean Pop album I just downloaded. And good news! My computer isn’t freezing up and being incredibly slow anymore (or maybe I’ve just become very patient thanks to it). I’m really happy because of it. I hope it stays this way from now on. Maybe this is what that Horoscope meant… Anyways, other good news.

I’m always happy when I finish an Anime series, since I always too many and now that the fall season is underway, I’ve got my hands full with it’s new shows. So I’m really glad that I finished El Cazador de la Bruja. Great ending though, by the way. Anyone who hasn’t see it, needs to. Or if you’re a fan of Bee Train, then you better watch it. Same theme and all…

Well, this morning wasn’t good because my parents were yelling at each other again, since my mom yelled at me for sitting in her seat. That seems like a stupid reason to yell at someone. She’s just taking her stress out on me. That’s all. But unfortunately, that’s now how my emotions took it. For the first time since I can remember, I cried, as embarrassed as I am to say that. Of course, I didn’t let them see me like that, though. But what’s wrong with me, jeez? I’m so used to it now, so why did it affect me? Who knows. So, I’m trying to forget about it, now. Pretend like it never happened. I do not cry. End of story.

Moving on, I’ve decided to wait till Paprika is released and get it from Netflix then. There’s no way I’ll have the time to watch it during the weekend. That sounds stupid to me, though, since I really do nothing else. It’s probably the fact that I’m only allowed a limited amount of hours online. Yeah, that must be it. When I had unlimited, last year, I could’ve easily watched it. Oh well. It’s not like I wanna see it right away. Now, as for the Bleach movie, that I have to watch during the weekend. Who knows when it’s gonna be released. I hope I can watch it before the second movie comes out. Then I’d really have a problem…

I’m just gonna say a few opinions about the new anime of the season that I’ve seen so far-
Clannad: I love this. It’s from Key Animation, so I knew it was gonna be good. I wish I could watch Kanon though. I really should; as a fan and all.

Myself; Yourself: Really good. I love Oribe Aoi-chan. She makes the show more worthwhile. Otherwise, it’d be like any other harem anime. But don’t get me wrong, I do love harem animes.

Kodomo no Jikan TV: After watching the OVA, I was so ready for this. It’s so cute!! I can’t seem to decide which one if my favorite though. Oh well. I love ‘em all!

Blue Drop ~Tenshi-tachi no Giyoku~: The first anime of the season that I’m disappointed in. I thought since it was Yuri, I’d love it. But that’s not the case. Maybe it’s because I’ve only seen one episode so far (I know, I know. I shouldn’t jump to conclusions). But it seems so plain. I hope it gets better. Otherwise, I’m dropping it…

Genshiken 2: As a dai-fan of Genshiken, I couldn’t wait for this. Now, here’s an anime to buy. I wish I could be in a club like that. It’s not fair >.<

Ef ~a tale of memories~: For some reason, this anime just doesn’t catch my attention. Usually, after the first episode, I have a good idea if I’ll like it or not. So far, it’s been the negative. It better improve or it’s being dropped…

I’m still waiting for the subbed release of Kara no Kyoukai, Velvet Underworld, Koharu Biyori, and the Red Garden OVA (isn’t that funny, because I haven’t finished watching the original series…?). Hopefully, they’ll come out soon and I can watch them. By that time, I hope I’ll be finished with Umisho, Romeo x Juliet, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, SkyGirls TV, and Wellber no Monogatari. Once again, it’s not me. It’s the fansubbers. I wish they’d release the episodes just a little bit faster. It’d be nice, is all…

I think I’m done rambling now, and hey! The album’s finished. Good timing. Now I can go back to watching anime.

Ya-hoo! Happy Saturday!

Another weekend’s come. Finally. Last weekend didn’t really count. A weekend should be one that you’re anxiously waiting for and will enjoy. Like now. It’s just after noon- 12:06 and I’m listening to the Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo soundtrack. I love soundtracks, but let’s not get into all that….

I’m supposed to be meeting my friend at her house today and to meet her parents. My parents have a rule that they need to meet a friend’s parents before they let me go to their house. Once again, they forget I’m nearly 17… But once I’m 18 it won’t matter anymore. Here’s a random question: How late do you people stay up during the week? I’m not even going to say my bedtime. It’s like I’m in middle school or something….. Can anyone guess? How embarrassing…

Anyways… it’s not really a supposed to, but I wish kinda thing. Hopefully, more like. If I get this done then I can go over to her house without permission. Well, something like that. I just wonder how they’re going to take to her kids…o.0 She’s only 17, but she’s a good mom. I support her. And her other friend who comes by. She’s also a good mom, but the former is better with them…

Oh, I’m going to be getting a cell phone soon today. My parents are our right now buying them and doing all the necessary things. I’m happy that it’s a camera phone, that’s all. Wouldn’t it be fun to take pictures from your phone? I can’t send them anywhere though…. And, a little help… how do you get wallpapers and ring tones there? I don’t know much about cell phones o.0; I’m not a phone person anyway…

I’ve been trying for the past few days to get this one particular manga online. I’ve got the first three chapters, but I have to scour the internet for the next two. It sucks, really. I can’t seem to find it, even though I’ve been given links to sites that have them. And I know I’m not bad with forums, so how come I can’t find them? Oh, it makes me angry…

Well, I’ve got to watch a lot of anime today to catch up from this week’s so little time to watch them. Bye-bye~!

Happy Saturday Evening (well it is for me right now). Warning: Yaoi and Yuri pictures ahead. DO NOT proceed if you have a phobia of it!!

I just started watcing Mokke and it’s nice and all, but I can tell I’m just going to drop it later, so I might as well not bother. Actually, I didn’t even finish watching half of it; something I never do. I prefer anime with a little more action, you know. If it’s nice then it needs at least another theme. I don’t think it’s much to ask for….

Moving on, I’ve haven’t posted since last Monday. I didn’t have the time last week and Friday (yesterday) I couldn’t go on ’cause I got a C+ on my interim. o.0 My parents…. Biology’s soooo boring. I can’t help it.

Though I did get an A+ in U.S. History and an A in Japanese II. My best subjects after all. Maybe it’s better if I just list them all….

SAT READING PREP….. A
Creative Writing….. B+
Japanese II…… A
Geometry…. B

I think those are good grades. What’s wrong with a C+???? Whatever…

I just made a bunch of new friends on Friday. I’m so happy. And a potential someone ^.^ Go me!

Eto…. what else…. oh, Fansubs take forever to come out. *rolls eyes* I should be finished watching the Spring and Summer ‘07 anime, you know. But no~ What schedules to they work on? I swear… If only I understand Japanese fluently. I could watch everything RAW and the day it comes out. Jeez….

~Ah, I’m listening to my favorite asian drama songs. Such memories. Natsukashii!

Oh!!!! Question!!! Where can I find Basilisk and Saiunkoku Monogatari yaoi fanfiction? Is it like nonexistent? I mean, c’mon! I thought of the perfect pairings! Hyouma and Gennosuke from Basilisk and then Seiran and Ryuuki from Saiunkoku Monogatari. *winces back from insults* I know, I know. Those are really shoujo animes and they shouldn’t contain yaoi. Well, too bad. I love yaoi and yuri. Shoujo is a bit boring and typical. I like a change in the story flow. Now, if someone could find me some fanfics, I’d be forever grateful. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go watch SkyGirls TV 14.

Some good news… and I really shouldn’t be blogging now

For one thing, I don’t know what happened to watching anime all day, since I just got on the computer 10 minutes. And it’s 4:10 now. Now, what happened during all that time then? Well, there’s the good news. Guess where I’m going for Winter Break? Florida to visit my friends and relatives. I’m only going to see my friends, but if I have to see my friends too, then it’s worth it. I can’t wait! I’ve been waiting since before last summer; when I was supposed to go down there. But it didn’t happen, and so plans have now been made. I’m gonna be with them for Christmas. That’s so cool! It’s too bad Super-Con, the anime convention is Dec. 1st. If only it had been near the end of the month, then I’d finally be able to go an anime convention. My friends have already been, what, once? Twice?

To make up for that, here’s some far off plans. In three years (when my friends graduate, they’re a year younger than me), we’re combing out graduation presents and going to Japan. Now I don’t have to be jealous of them anymore or of those going to Japan this summer. After all, the one this summer is for school and a home-stay; while that does sound cool, it’s not really for sight-seeing. So that’s were gonna do. Get lost in Tokyo! I’m joking. By then, I should be in my 4th or 5th year of taking Japanese, since I’m gonna take it college too. I should know enough kanji and enough of the language by then. I’m gonna study hard! And I never study, either. Now, that says something ^.^

Ooh, I can’t wait!

Oh, later on tonight I’m gonna buy a ton of manga from Amazon. I’ve been planning to for weeks, but never got around to it. I feel like I have so little manga. My friends have a 100 and close to that. I’ve only got 40 o.0 I need more. So by Christmas time, I should at least 60-70, my birthday on Jan. 9th I’ll get maybe 10-20 more. I’ll get a 100 even if kills me. I wonder if they’ll get me Christmas presents. My friends, I mean. I’ll be down there at that time, so they would, right? I’ve got to get them some too. Oy! I might not have the money! Gahhhhhh!!!

Well, that’s about it. Oh wait, I got a new USB key though. Now I don’t have to buy myself. My dad’s so nice. He doesn’t charge me, like my mom would. She’s so picky with money. What’s $40-50 here and then? Actually, I have no idea how much it was. Oh well. I’d rather not know.

Onwards to the Holidays! I already got my whole wishlist planned out. I wish October would end and November too. Stupid time….
